Family Team Fun -  Secrets of Training Shamu and how it relates to training the family dog

FREE FIRST SESSION.  BRING A FRIEND!

Ever wonder how Shamu, the Killer Whale at SeaWorld is taught to perform? This great 4 week course is designed to explore the games which are the same methods SeaWorld Trainers use for teaching the sea mammals seen in their shows. A fun and interactive class where a parent and child team solve puzzles, and earn prizes each week. Open to parents and children ( ages 8 years and up) teams. Its fun for families, as well as great mental stimulation for your dog. it can burn off a dog's excess energy even better than a 5 mile run! The first class is FREE to check it out! If you get hooked on the art of training SHAMU, sign up for the rest of the series. Although your dogs are welcome, they are not required for attendance at the first class. Be prepared to crate them while the humans only attend the first class in the series.

We are offering the three remaining weeks of the course at an introductory price of $60.00   Register early for a discount.

Limit: 12 working teams.  Meets Sundays for 1 hour from 4-5 PM

Canine Good Citizen/Therapy Dog Foundations

This 7 week course will cover the CGC test items. It also includes fun games and conditioning exercises with our K9 partners. As senior living centers and adult communities become more common. the need for therapy canines will increase. When your K9 partner earns a therapy dog title, as a team you offer a service that gives back to the community. Dogs with the ability to calm and focus on their handler are good prospects for this course, at any age. This course includes a mock CGC evaluation test (for reasons of official AKC rules).  Information about an official CGC test will be available at the end of the course.   More info on the CGC and Therapy dog training can be read on the links across the top of this webpage.

Meets Tuesdays from 7-8pm Cost: $120.00  This class meets once a week for 7 weeks.

CLASSES FOR TAMING THE EXUBERANT DOG

Do you have an exuberant dog?  We have a few classes that might help you.

Feisty Fido - Getting a grip on your reactive dog.

This class is designed for people who have dogs that lunge, growl, snap or bite at other dogs or people when you go on walks.  We will teach you a non aversive method to get your feisty Fido to behave in a calmer manner while on walks.   Most of you probably have dogs that react to other dogs.  Others will have dogs that react to people.   We will touch on both issues during this class.

This class will be on Thursdays at 2 pm in the Central Bucks area.  The cost will be $180 for eight sessions.  Phone and email support between classes will be our priority for this class.
